Twelve weeks ago I suggested an exercise:
“What will you do that’s different next week?
Make a list of 12 changes – one a week for the next three months – that will brighten your life and give you greater sparkle and joie-de-vivre?”.
Some people asked if I’d be joining in myself…..I said yes.
Below is my list.
Note: it might surprise you as I spend up to 12 hours a day in my study writing articles, taking calls, planning new workshops, replying to emails, undertaking healings, mentoring sessions, etc
Week New activity
1 Chose to be nice to Trudi’s sister for once…..
2 Agreed to go out regularly for coffee by the river
3 Even watched a few Murder mysteries on the internet with Trudi
4 Actually did some gardening…..planting trees and shrubs
5 Somehow agreed to help Trudi create a large vegie garden
6 Came to terms with the passing of Shadow, my 4 legged friend
7 Sang out loud a lot of chants and spiritual songs (versus listening)
8 Amazingly visited (and respected) a doctor for a health check
9 Actually read my first book again (and totally enjoyed it)
10 Had a haircut (joke just to see if you’re still reading this)
11 Started taking Pasha (new dog) out for ball-games around 5am
12 Wrote (over the 12 weeks) my 13th book (a 330 page autobiography)

At the end of the day, it’s not what we think that matters but what we DO with what we think…….
